Diffrent skin conditions.....

There are many different types of skin conditions such as....
*dry
*oily
*eczema
*combination- wich is manly you're T zone would be oily and you're cheeks are dry

If you have dry skin the best foundation to use is a tinted moisturiser
For oily skin then oil free foundation is better
For eczema your best to put E45 as a base before your foundation
And for a combination you should put a moisturiser on your cheek and use a oil free foundation

About wigs....

A wig is a head of hair made from horse hair, human hair, wool, feathers, yak hair, buffalo hair, or synthetic materials which is worn on the head for fashion or various other aesthetic and stylistic reasons, including cultural and religious observance. The word wig is short for periwig and first appeared in the English language around 1675.

Marie antoinette was well known for her hair pieces and wigs. There is a very good modern day film about her the link below shows you the trailer to the film

What is Curriculum for Excellence and how it is good for my course .....

Curriculum for Excellence aims to achieve a transformation in education  for ages 3-18
Curriculum aims to ensure that all children and young people in Scotland develop the attributes, knowledge and skills they will need to flourish in life, learning and work.
The knowledge, skills and attributes learners will develop and  will allow them to demonstrate four key capacities – to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
This is useful in my course because when something is new to you and you hav never done it before you dont feel confident doing it because you dont feel you are doing it right because ut is new to you.

On a monday morning we do character which is tv and theatrical make up. Then in the afternoon we do wigs this shows you how so set hair for puting a wig on, how to measure the head for making a wig, how to wash and set a wig and how to make a bold cap.

On a Wednesday we have hairdressing in the moring which involes wash and blow dryes and all the diffrent ways of setting such as a wet set, dry set, on base, off base and unconventional setting. The in the afternoon we do special effect for tv which involves cut, bruises, bullet wounds, old scars and new scars, this is what i enojoy the most because it looks so real and you can make it as gory as you want.
